  • Milk
  • Unsalted Butter

  • Cream Cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until bubbly (about 5 minutes). Add melted butter and egg; gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the Dough: On a floured surface, knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
  3. Make the Filling: Chop strawberries and blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy; fold in strawberries.
  4. Roll It Out: Punch down the risen dough and roll out into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  5. Spread & Roll: Evenly spread the filling over the dough. Roll tightly from one end into a log shape and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake & Serve: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle with lemon-vanilla glaze after cooling slightly.
