- Blue gel food coloring
- Red gel food coloring
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup salted butter
- 4–5 cups powdered sugar
- Patriotic sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Divide batter into three bowls; color one blue, one red, and leave one white.
- Alternate pouring the colored batters into cupcake liners, filling each about ¾ full.
- Swirl the batter lightly using a toothpick.
- Bake for 18-21 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- For the frosting, melt white chocolate and allow to cool.
