Ingredients
- Jumbo pasta shells
- Lean ground beef
- Ricotta cheese
- Marinara sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot. Cook jumbo pasta shells until al dente according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef on medium heat. Drain excess fat, add minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
- Mix in ricotta cheese until well combined.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Stuff each shell with the beef and ricotta mixture and place them in a baking dish lined with marinara sauce.
- Pour more marinara sauce over stuffed shells and top with shredded mozzarella.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with freshly grated parmesan.
