- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into uniform strips and soak in buttermilk for at least one hour.
- Set up your breading station: combine flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in one bowl; beat eggs in another; place panko breadcrumbs in the last.
- Coat each chicken strip in the flour mixture first, then dip in eggs, and finally roll in panko until fully coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to about 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the tenders in small batches for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels before serving hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
