This rich and creamy dish features tender beef, sautéed mushrooms, and a luscious sauce, making it perfect for family dinners or cozy nights in. Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin
  • Fresh mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • Sour cream
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Beef broth
  • Flour
  • Egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook 12 ounces of egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and cook seasoned beef sirloin for about 3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté diced onion and sliced mushrooms in the same skillet until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables, stir for a minute, then gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Lower the heat and mix in sour cream, minced garlic, and dried thyme until combined.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Serve over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
