  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips. Chop bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms if using.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until tender (about 5 minutes).
  3. 3. Push veggies aside and add beef strips. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
