  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • Tangzhong (from recipe above)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling by mixing cubed peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine water, bread flour, sugar, yeast, salt, milk, heavy cream, egg, tangzhong (if using), and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 60-90 minutes until doubled.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the peach filling evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and roll tightly from one end.
  6. Slice into individual rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Prepare crumb topping by mixing softened butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour; sprinkle over rolls.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with cream cheese glaze before serving.
