Preparation
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta with 1 cup mozzarella and half the Parmesan. Add salt and pepper.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, layer half the pasta, half the meat sauce, and half the ricotta mixture. Repeat.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
