- Cube 6 cups of day-old bread into bite-sized pieces. Toast if needed.
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add the bread cubes to the custard mixture and stir to coat. Let soak for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish.
- Pour soaked bread mixture into the dish. Top with cranberries and pecans.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until custard is set and top is golden.
- Serve warm with optional drizzle of maple syrup or caramel.
