Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pasta and Greens
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini refrigerated
  • 2 cups fresh spinach optional
Toppings
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Add cream cheese, heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, and Italian seasoning to the crockpot. Stir slightly.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 1-2 hours until the cream cheese has fully melted and sauce is smooth.
  3. Stir in tortellini directly from the package (uncooked). Mix to coat with the sauce.
  4. Cook on LOW for 2 to 2.5 more hours, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.
  5. About 15-20 minutes before serving, stir in spinach if using, then add Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot with extra Parmesan or red pepper flakes, if desired.
