Ingredients
  

  • 6 legs chicken pat dry with paper towels
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey can substitute with maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the legs into the crock pot.
  4. Pour marinade over the chicken and coat evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  6. Optional: Broil cooked legs for 3–5 minutes to crisp the skin.
  7. Serve hot with extra juices spooned over.
