Baking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in flour and salt until the dough is crumbly. Press evenly into the baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust bakes, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture over the hot crust.
- Return to the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes until just set in the center.
- Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
- Optional: Chill for clean, sharp edges.
