Preparation
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet and toast for 20–25 minutes until lightly golden and dry.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and celery, cooking until softened, about 10 minutes.
- Add garlic and chopped herbs. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a large bowl, combine toasted bread with sautéed veggies.
- Slowly pour in broth, tossing until bread is evenly coated but not soggy.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer stuffing to a greased 9×13 baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy on top.
