Ingredients

  • 18-24 large strawberries Choose ripe and firm strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Creates a light and fluffy texture in the filling.
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese Softened to blend easily.
  • 1/3 cup sour cream Adds tanginess and creaminess to the filling.
  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar Sweetens the filling perfectly.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For classic cheesecake flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice Optional, brightens up the flavors.
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs A crunchy topping that mimics traditional cheesecake crusts.

Method

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Cut off the stems and slice each strawberry in half lengthwise. Cut a small sliver off the back of each half for stability and hollow out the center.
  2. Whip the Cream: Beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, about five minutes.
  3. Mix Cream Cheese Filling: Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pipe into Strawberries: Transfer the filling into a piping bag and pipe into each hollowed-out strawberry half.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over each filled strawberry and arrange on a serving platter.
