Ingredients
  

  • 3 to 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use fresh or thawed chicken for best results.
  • 1 can unsalted cream of chicken soup This adds creaminess without overwhelming flavors.
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix Choose your favorite brand for a flavorful base.
  • 1/2 cup water or chicken broth Use broth for an extra depth of flavor if desired.
  • hot cooked rice Serves as the perfect bed for the savory chicken and gravy.

Method
 

  1. Start by placing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with both packets of chicken gravy mix. Stir until well blended.
  3. Pour in your choice of water or chicken broth over the chicken and soup mixture in the crockpot.
  4. Cover your crockpot and set it to cook on low for about four hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken back into the crockpot, stirring it into the gravy before serving over hot cooked rice.
  6. Spoon generous portions of your Easy Crockpot Chicken and Gravy over bowls of steaming rice.
