  • 2 slices white or Italian bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slice provolone or Monterey Jack cheese
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Mix the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer mozzarella and provolone on the unbuttered sides.
