- Mix the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer mozzarella and provolone on the unbuttered sides.
- Close the sandwich with buttered sides facing out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve.
