Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the spaghetti, chicken broth, water, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
Finish the Dish
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
