Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (penne or fusilli)
Beef
  • 1 lb Ground beef (lean)
Dairy
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Chopped spinach
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Method
 

Cook Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook Beef and Vegetables
  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped spinach, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted.
Make Creamy Sauce
  1. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy beef sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
