  • 2 slices sourdough or brioche bread
  • 1 medium banana sliced
  • 2 slices mozzarella or brie cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened

Method
 

  1. Slice the banana into rounds and set aside.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, into a skillet over medium-low heat.
  4. Add one slice of cheese, then the banana slices, drizzle with honey, and top with the second slice of cheese.
  5. Place the second bread slice on top, buttered side facing up.
  6. Grill until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, rest for a minute, slice, and enjoy warm.
