Ingredients

  • 4 cups water Use filtered water for the best flavor.
  • 5 bags organic green tea Opt for high-quality tea for optimal health benefits.
  • 2 tablespoons ginger Finely grated or minced, fresh ginger adds a zesty kick.
  • 3-4 tablespoons honey Adjust according to your sweetness preference.
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice Freshly squeezed juice elevates the flavor profile.
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice Adds a tangy brightness that complements the orange.

Method

  1. Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a good simmer, just before it reaches boiling point.
  2. Once the water is hot, turn off the heat and add in the 5 organic green tea bags along with the finely grated ginger. Let this mixture steep for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. After steeping, let the tea cool slightly before pouring it through a strainer into a pitcher.
  4. Stir in 3 to 4 tablespoons of honey while the tea is still warm so it dissolves easily. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
  5. Next, pour in 2 cups of fresh orange juice and half a cup of fresh lemon juice into your pitcher. Stir well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Finally, serve this refreshing iced tea over ice for an extra chill factor. Garnish each glass with mint leaves before serving.
