Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Press crust mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- While crust bakes, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in pecans gently to keep them whole.
- Pour filling over hot crust. Return to oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, until center is set.
- Let bars cool completely before slicing. Chill for cleaner cuts if needed.
