Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or grated
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup warm water more as needed for consistency
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or chili paste optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Whisk until a thick paste forms.
  3. Slowly add warm water 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Add sriracha or chili paste if using, and mix well.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed—more soy for saltiness, syrup for sweetness, or vinegar for brightness.
  6. Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to one week.
