- Pat brisket dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat oil and sear brisket on both sides until browned.
- In a bowl, whisk together cranberry sauce, beef broth, onion soup mix, garlic, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Place seared brisket in slow cooker. Pour glaze over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours or high for 4–6 hours, until fork tender.
- Remove brisket, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice against the grain.
- Serve with sauce from slow cooker spooned over the top.
