Ingredients
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 60 g granulated sugar
- 220 g unsalted butter (cold)
- 1 kg apples (Pink Lady, Royal Gala, or Fuji)
- 190 g brown sugar
- 1¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- Vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by combining flour, sugar, and salt. Mix in cold butter until crumbly; add cold water to form dough. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
- For the filling, peel and slice apples; mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, salt, and water.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out half the chilled dough into a pie dish; fill with apple mixture. Roll out remaining dough for the top crust and seal edges.
