Ingredients

  • Flank steak
  • Provolone cheese
  • Onion
  • Green bell pepper
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Ranch dressing (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak against the grain and season with salt and pepper. Finely chop onion and green bell pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes. Add flank steak; cook until browned.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in shredded provolone cheese until melted.
  4. Assemble egg rolls by placing 2 tablespoons of filling on an egg roll wrapper, folding tightly, and sealing edges with water.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with ranch dressing.
